As if I needed another reason to stare at and draw food, I chose to combine two of the briefs: Taste of Heritage and Family Life, because the two are inseparable in the Philippines! Here, where we greet everyone we meet with "Kumain ka na?", food is not simply a source of nourishment but also a love language that naturally brings people together. The default serving size of almost all Filipino dishes is for sharing.
